i just thought of a new category to start for posts: bathroom pics. i just noticed that i have a ton of them on my phone from various bathrooms.. usually of funny sayings, cool tags, rad pics, etc. not pictures of my shit you sicko. jeez.
this one was taken at mac’s bar after phog and played a show there in march. that’s a ’sponge’ sticker there on the wall. not a sideways vagina graphic.

this saturday i’m playing aka’s SMILE (an album for which i did the artwork) release party. it’s at the Elbow Room in Ypsilanti, which is my favorite spot in Ypsi and great place to kick it. They have these old tv’s in there that play the craziest / weirdest video clips. the show is going to kick ass i’m sure, phog will be holding me down and the other cats on the bill are all cool.

i can’t believe it’s been a month since i posted anything.. damn. well, things slowed down on the site updates because my trial version on dreamweaver expired haha.. shit, anyone want to send me a serial number?
been meaning to post regularly, doogie howser style, but shit’s been busy. good busy though. adventures with friends, good shows, painting, etc. lots of new things on the horizon.. stay tuned.

the background and the splatts were hand painted by me, the smiley was drawn in a sketchbook. all elements were done separately and brought together in photoshop. the background is my favorite part, personally.

Hands On: American Beauty
i was just checking out my friend Alexipharmic’s myspace page and i saw this nice little video he put together. it’s promoting his new album american beauty, and it showcases the album artwork which i designed. Pretty sweet! i also did the sticker on the front and poster in the background, so i was pretty stoked to see this haha. i’ll go into more detail about the design later when i post some pictures. for now, check this out!
